They're grown in the ocean
Yes, outdoors at the patio
On a Saturday evening when we went it was a 20 minute wait. This is with about 10 people in line before us (groups of 2's and 3's)
Yes they have them available in the restaurant
Also depends when you go...
Good selection of draft and bottled. I can really remember the brands. But I know they had a good selection of bear and alcohol
Usually they are on ice
There are a few non-seafood options.
Some of the best raw oysters you can get ever. Hog Island raises their own oysters up in the north bay and you can tell that the quality of oysters they produce are very high and consistent. They are a must here. The clam chowder is also a popular item. While it is not as creamy as your typical New England clam chowders, the texture and taste are sublime. The stock they use and ingredients all compliment each other and create a clam chowder that is absolutely tops. The mussels are also another great item. The sauce they are cooked in are delicious. The line outside moves very fast. So don't get intimidated if it seems very long. It moves quicker than other lines. If you're in SF, this is a place worth trying
MoreCame here for lunch during SF Restaurant Week. The grilled oysters were tasty. The highlight was the clam chowder Γ°ΕΈΛβ¬. I have not seen so many clams in a bowl of chowder before. The clams were fresh and tasty. The chowder was very flavorful. The broth was on the thinner side. Was good, but don't expect the thick type that you find at the fisherman's wharf stands. Will definitely come back again for the chowder Γ°ΕΈβΒ.
